On March 31, 2016, the headquarters of the Menéndez Pelayo International University in Seville organized, in collaboration with the Institute of Culture and Arts of Seville (ICAS), the forum "The Triana Ceramic Center as a cultural and tourist space urban ", a conference that talked about different points of views of professionals related to crafts and culture to turn the Sevillian center into a cultural and tourist axis of the city.

The forum, held at the Centro Ceramica de Triana and coordinated by those responsible for "BarroAzul Cultural Management", Antonio Librero and Paula Felizón, had a number of objectives among which were: the exhibition of successful innovative projects in the cultural and artisanal sectors, and the strengths and weaknesses of the artistic ceramic sector; the enhancement of new perspectives of business development based on innovation, cooperation or new business models, and the preparation of a document that would bring together all the proposals.

Potters, cultural managers, businessmen and representatives of the administration participated in the two round tables where the topics discussed were: "The role of cultural centers as dynamisers of local crafts" and "New business models: entrepreneurs and craftsmen". In addition, a participatory work workshop was held to gather proposals and to boost the Triana Ceramics Center "as a generator of local development".
